Cara Jocelyn Delevingne was born on August 12, 1992, in Hammersmith, London, England . She hails from a prominent family; her father, Charles Delevingne, is a property developer, and her mother, Pandora Anne Delevingne (née Stevens), has worked in the fashion industry. Cara has two older sisters, Chloe and Poppy Delevingne, the latter also being a model and actress. Her maternal grandfather, Sir Jocelyn Stevens, was a publishing executive and chairman of English Heritage, and her paternal grandmother, Angela Delevingne, was a socialite .​

Delevingne attended Francis Holland School in London until age 16, then transferred to Bedales School in Hampshire, focusing on drama and music. She has spoken openly about her struggles with dyspraxia and depression during her teenage years .​

Modeling Career
